My heart is overflowing with gratitude and joy as I am sitting here, searching for the right words that will do justice to the experience I had with Aloha Awakenings. It was such a gift to be submerged into a level of astounding beauty on Earth I had never experienced before. Just when I thought it couldn't get any more beautiful, my surroundings became showered with the light of my new friends and family. All of our shared experiences became so much a part of the colorful, abundant surroundings that blessed us graciously. Even the generous sprinkling of stars seemed brighter each night while they reflected everyones' experiences from the day.

I am here, writing to you about an invitation to play: Play that every day you wake up is your birthday. Yes, your actual birthday. You can choose it to be any day that is especially magical for you.
A couple years ago, I started playing this game with life and myself. At Cafe Gratitude, we learn about and practice, being-ness. So, I began playing that every morning I woke up, it was Christmas. Christmas always has been a most magical day for me. My whole life, there was a particular feeling of Christmas morning and all day it lasted. So I thought: I can be that feeling every day of my life! After a while of awesomely enjoying every day and upping the magical feeling to every day, it was July, my birthday month. So, I changed up the game. I took on playing that every morning when I woke up, it was my birthday. This has been one of the best months of my life. Every day had a tangible quality of extra-ordinariness.
The approach of Valentines Day inspires me to share a story about manifestation.
I am inspired by Fritzie Rubenstein. She passed away 16 years ago but I think of her often. Fritzie was so creative that even with no experience in the workplace and finding herself widowed and 54 years young with no source of income nor savings, was able to find a way to do what she loved and create a job out of thin air.
She did not have money to pay rent in her new apartment complex but it didn't stop her. She loved people and had a gift for gab and humor. Fritzie was very social and saw a need for a social director in the apartment complex. Her vision was a monthly newsletter announcing birthdays, anniversarys, celebrations and events. Of course, there were no events and the apartment manager did not see the value of a paid position in that capacity. This is where Fritzie was unstoppable.
