Working on the farm today having just returned from leading our Community Building workshop in L.A. this weekend. 

What a great group gathered for doing to the work of looking at what stops us from really taking on the healing that community offers us all. Remember that your community may be your family, co workers, neighborhood, family or origin.... 

Our view is that community offers us all the opportunity to see what wounds are still open and oozing that we can take on healing.  It is an amazing workshop and we are grateful for those folks who show up and do the work. Thank you.

We visited the Venice Beach location of Cafe Gratitude L.A. and it is going to be amazing. It is currently newly under construction and I can already feel the LOVE VIBE in the space. The Bonbright's and L.A. team is doing a great job. I' will keep you posted on progress. It is due to open in mid May at this time.

As for progress on the changes happening here keep posted to our website, as that will always be accurate and updated information. If you hear something different than what we are posting, I wouldn't trust it. We will let you, our customers, know what is happening first!

The fruit trees are blossoming on the farm, which is a bit early, but given the weather patterns of our winter, no surprise. Mother birds are making  nests and the songs of the sparrows in the morning are heart opening. 

Kale we planted in January is ready to harvest! We have planted onions and today potatoes are going in the ground!  Chickens are laying spring quantities of eggs already as well. 

Yesterday we bottled Mark Tucker's first batch of beer, to be tested for the final fermentation (fizz) in a couple of weeks! We tasted it when bottling and were surprised by how good it was already! 

We are in the midst of planning a wine making course here on the farm this fall, and will keep you posted along with more Farm Dinners coming this year.
